We had an appointment at their shop for a 3 hour period--11 am to 2 pm. We arrived minutes ahead of time and work began at 11 am. While shopping in the area, we received a phone call that the work was done (around 1:30 pm. We were told car was in the lot and ready when we would arrive. No rush. Every part of the work was performed like clockwork. Check in and check out were prompt and professional. Windshield replaced and on our way.

I chose Safelite because of the convenience of having them come to me, but that was part of the downfall of this plan. On the date of the first visit, I received a call stating that my windshield hadn't been loaded into the van at the warehouse, so we'd have to reschedule. OK. We all make mistakes.
On the date of the second appointment, the technician showed up outside of the agreed-upon time window and then discovered he didn't have all the parts needed to do the install. So I would have to reschedule.
The day of the third appointment, the technician was able to install the windshield, but could not calibrate it even though he had tried 4 times. I'd have to take it in for calibration.
So on the fourth date, I took my car to the Safelite shop (exactly the thing I thought I was avoiding by choosing them) and they were able to calibrate my windshield.
In the future, if I needed to use them, I would just make an in-shop appointment and skip all the rest. But I would look at all of the competitors before I came back.

Last Wednesday, June 24, Safelite once again exceeded expectations: the quote and timeline were accurate. In fact, windshield replacement was completed earlier than anticipated. The personnel were courteous, answered questions promptly and created a professional, caring atmosphere. Won’t go anywhere else for auto window repair.
